reflection through movement
Hatha Yoga
Start your practice learning about the most foundational postures, meditation & breath work techniques.
Drawing inspiration from the Ashtanga primary series. Ashtanga Yoga (“eight-limbed yoga”; ashta=eight, anga=limb) is a system of yoga that emphasizes vinyasa: the synchronization of the breath with movement to produce inner heat, known as tapas, to purifiy the blood, detoxify the muscles and internal organs, and improve circulation. It will indirectly strengthen your body while promoting increased mobility & flexibility.
This exact sequence of poses (asana), gazing points (dristi) and controlled breathing (pranayama) are combined to create the trifecta (Tristhana) effect that allows you to be fully present in the moment - which is what life is all about and what Eastern thought teaches us. The practitioner learns what it takes to quiet the mind and enjoy stillness—-the countering or opposite effect of living life in the fast lane, thereby creating balance.
Sound Meditation, breath work & YOGA
Tap into a transformational experience where movement + sound weave together to guide you back into inner alignment.
This immersive offering combines the grounding power of sound with the fluidity of movement. Begin by centering through sound to quiet the mind and anchor your awareness. After a mindful flow, surrender into a long, restorative savasana accompanied by immersive sound for deep healing and renewal.
